Do Not Be Afraid: try CAFOD

Here's what can be done for women and girls in a world often hostile to our equality and, in many places, our survival. Even better, this template of faith-action exists within an organization wholly inside the envelope of the Roman Catholic community:

CAFOD is an acronym for the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development that provides a wonderful example of what ordinary people of faith can do. CAFOD currently supports the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs; mentioned in another posting) in England & Wales, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
